ABOUT SCADA
SCADA stands for the “ SWISS CONTEMPORARY ART AND DESIGN ASSOCIATION ”.
It was founded in 2018 by a group of design and art enthusiasts in Geneva who wanted to promote their passion around the world and raise the awareness of a wide audience about the importance of the recent history of art and design.
SCADA’s goal is to develop exhibition projects using mostly artworks and design pieces that are currently in private hands and rarely on public display. SCADA aims to bring life to sometimes hidden or dormant collections by offering them a curated platform and by partnering with leading public and private institution worldwide.
SCADA’s first project is called A Chair and You and originates from the long standing friendship between artist and curator Robert Wilson and collector Thierry Barbier-Mueller, whose daughters are co-founders and active members of the SCADA association.
